Exclusive  activities

Gardening

In our private garden, we will plant and nurture a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs. Through these activities, children will learn where food comes from, understand the importance of caring for the environment, sustainability and gain responsibility by watching the plants grow and flourish under their care. Gardening also encourages patience, teamwork and a deep connection to nature.

Languages

As a native Italian speaker, I will introduce children to the Italian language, as a second language, through fun and interactive sessions. From simple vocabulary to songs and stories, these lessons will help children gain new linguistic skills and cultural awareness, all while having fun.

Arts and crafts

During our outdoor walks, we'll encourage the children to explore the nature around them, inviting them to touch and feel different textures—like smooth stones, crunchy leaves, and rough pinecones. If they wish, they can collect some of these natural items to use in arts and crafts projects. This will enhance children's creativity, self-expressions and fine motor skills.

Furthermore, these activities are essentials for children to develop their hand-eye coordination, problem solving and the ability to follow instructions.

Cooking

Once our garden yields its produce, we’ll harvest what we’ve grown and use it in our cooking activities. This allows children to see the full cycle of food production—from planting seeds to preparing and cooking meals. Through this process, they’ll learn basic cooking skills, develop a sense of pride in the food they’ve grown, and understand the value of healthy, homegrown ingredients. We will then share meals together, fostering a sense of community and togetherness.

Outdoor walks

Whether it’s a walk in the local park or an excursion to nearby woodlands, we’ll explore nature as part of our daily routine. These trips will allow children to develop their motor skills and it will also give them a chance to observe wildlife and seasonal changes that will then help them to understand the environment cycle.
